No account, no saved inputs
Wear AI works without sign-up. We do not store your occasion, weather, style or body-shape choices on our servers.
What leaves your device
When you ask for an outfit, your choices (age, body shape, skin tone, weather, occasion, style, language) are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to generate the recommendation. We ask OpenAI not to store the request. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless a customer opts in, and that abuse-monitoring logs may be kept for up to 30 days. We cannot delete copies held by OpenAI.
What stays in your browser
Saved looks, closet items and their photos, collections, your profile name and details, sizes and preferences are kept in this browser only (local storage). They are never sent to our server or to the AI provider. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Illustrations
Outfit illustrations are generated by OpenAI from the garment names and colors only (for example "navy trench coat"). Your age, body shape, skin tone, occasion and weather are not sent for this. We do not store the images: they exist only in your browser until you leave the page, and shared links never include them. OpenAI may keep the prompt and image for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Illustrations are AI-made and do not show how clothes will fit you.
Sharing
Nothing is shared unless you choose to. A shared link contains the recommendation, not your profile photo or the choices you entered.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count visits, shares, saves, quick changes and thumbs up/down taps. It receives only these counts (plus whether the look was the recommended one), never your inputs, results or photos. The site also loads Ahrefs analytics, which counts visits; it does not receive your inputs, results or photos either.
Photos
Photos you add to your closet or profile are resized in your browser and stored only in this browser (local storage). They are never uploaded to our servers and never sent to the AI provider, and Wear AI does not analyze your photos. Outfit illustrations are generated separately, as described above.
